The Indian Premier League Matches
The Indian Premier League (also known as the “DLF Indian Premier League”), is a Twenty20 cricket competition created by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The first season of the Indian Premier League commenced on 18 April 2008.
Each team will play the other seven teams home and away , the top four teams at the end of the group stages will proceed through to the semi finals.
The 2008 Indian Premier League season will be the debut season of the Indian Premier League, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India in 2007. The season commenced on the 18 April 2008 and the final match will be held on 1 June 2008. The league will consist of 8 teams. Each team will play a home match and an away match against every other team. The league matches will be followed by two semi-finals and a final match.
